The site uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner to accept.
Cookies
- ou_session (on HTTPS: __Host-ou_session) β keeps you signed in. Signed, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, valid for 30 days or until you sign out. Set only after you sign in with Discord.
- ou_oauth (on HTTPS: __Host-ou_oauth) β protects the Discord sign-in against forgery. Valid for 10 minutes and deleted right after sign-in.
Browser storage
- Keys starting with ou:v1: in localStorage β your language, appearance settings and local copies of the data, so the site works quickly and offline.
- The installed web app (service worker) caches the siteβs own static files for faster loading. Pages with personal data are never cached.
Third parties
Embeds from YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify and similar services may set their own cookies when you open a page that contains them. They are controlled by those providers.
How to remove them
Sign out to delete the sign-in cookie. Cookies and site storage can also be cleared in your browser settings; the site will keep working, but you will need to sign in again.
